The Ininvited follows in the long tradition of evil step-mother/step-father films. I went into this movie with no real kind of expectation. The genre, though hailed by many, is not one of my favorites.
However this movie is a bit of a surprise to me and easily can fit into other genres, allowing itself to be compared to Secret Window and the still playing thriller Unborn. There are twists and turns similar to SW and alot of creepy looking stuff you'll see in Unborn.
This is a difficult movie to discuss because it relies on what's going to happen next. We don't want to give anything away. Leave comments in our blog once you've seen it to lead to discussion.
It's a pretty good movie if you don't go into the theatre with unrealistic expections. Also you have to stick with it and pay attention to everything that's going on.
