In a monumental moment in film history Heath Ledger has won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as The Joker in the DC Comics Movie The Dark Knight.
It's a bitter-sweet moment since we all know that Heath will never be able perform his art again. However it is a joyous moment for all those who love comic movies - to be honored among the other types of films at the Oscars.
Congratulations to Heath Ledger...RIP.
