To tell the truth, I didn't remember this movie existed until a couple of days ago when I was surfing the internet. I have never been a big fan of the Street Fighter game series, or any 2D fighter for that matter. After seeing the Street Fighter movie with Jean Claude Van Damme, I was surprised that the series is going forward.
I went in to this movie with realistic expectations. The martial arts in the movie were really exciting. When an action sequence started you are instantly sucked in. Although it has some good action it is not enough to save the movie from a poor storyline. There are even elements of the plot that appeared without any explanation.
Without going into too much detail, the Street Fighter franchise needs a little more fine tuning. Bottom Line...
