First of all let me just say, WOW. The summer movie season is starting to shape up. First it was Wolverine, and now Star Trek. I was in awe the entire time. The movie was beautiful and the plot was seamless. And I'm not saying this just because I'm a Trek fan. Seriously though, the film serves as a wonderful introduction to the crew of the fabled USS Enterprise. The story follows James T. Kirk, possibly one of the most famous fictional characters out there. We are witness to his rise from virtually no one to a Starfleet captain.
We are introduced fairly early to the films antagonist, Nero. He can simply be described as one bad dude with an attitude to match, although his character is a little bit deeper than that.
Even if you aren't a Star Trek fan and have never seen a single episode of the many different series, you will enjoy it. It will be pretty hard not to like this movie. It has something for everyone comedy, action, drama, and suspense. There is really nothing left to say except for ....
