Review: X-Men Origins: Wolverine

X-Men Origins: Wolverine starts off with a BANG. This movie takes some place sometime before the main trilogy occurs and follows most every one's favorite mutant, Wolverine. The story starts off when he is a child and follows him to adulthood, and this is just in the first 7 minutes. We also find out that Wolverine is kinda old, but fans of the series will already know that.

Along the way we see some familiar and new faces. What I really liked about this movie was the fact that it showed Wolverine at a time when he showed emotions and openly cared about others. I believe this added depth to the character. The special effects were done beautifully and they looked realistic for the most part. The only complaint that can be thought of was one close up shot of his adamantium claws.

What surprised me the most was the fact that this film is noticeably different in style from the previous X-Men movies. There was just an overall aggressiveness that added to the excitement of the film.
